The homeowner sees your brand throughout the process — not the name of the design service you used. It is the same model used across many trades and industries: you handle the sales and installation, and a specialist handles the design work.

Who actually creates the designs?

Every design is created personally by Delaney Lowrie, the founder of Sunroom Design Lab. Delaney has personally designed over 400 sunroom additions for contractors across the country. No designs are outsourced, delegated to other designers, or generated by AI. When you place an order, Delaney works on it directly.

Question 3

How does the branding work? Will my customers know a third party was involved?

Accepted Answer

No. Every design packet is delivered with your company name, logo, and contact information on it. The homeowner receives a professional design document that looks like it came directly from your business. Sunroom Design Lab does not appear anywhere on the deliverable. Your brand is the only brand the customer sees.

What is included in a design package?

Accepted Answer

Every design package includes a photorealistic 3D exterior rendering of the proposed addition on the actual home, a dimensioned floor plan, elevation drawings, framing and structural callouts, and materials specifications. How long does it take to get a design back?

The Standard Design package has a 5-business-day turnaround. Standard Plus is 3 business days. Rush VIP is guaranteed 1 business day. Turnaround time begins once your order is submitted with all required project information and files.

What does it cost?

Accepted Answer

Pricing starts at $300 for the Standard Design package (5-day turnaround), $400 for Standard Plus (3-day turnaround), and $500 for Rush VIP (guaranteed 1-day turnaround). Payment is due when your design is complete, not upfront. Full pricing details are on the Pricing page.

Do you design for Eze-Breeze and screen rooms too, or just traditional sunrooms?

Sunroom Design Lab designs for all enclosure types: traditional sunrooms, Eze-Breeze vinyl-glazed enclosures, screen rooms, patio enclosures, three-season rooms, deck additions, and pergola additions. The design process and deliverables are the same regardless of enclosure type.

Will the drawings be detailed enough for an HOA submission or a building permit?

Yes. Every design packet is built to meet the standard of completeness that most HOA architectural review boards and local building departments expect. That means dimensioned floor plans, elevation views, framing callouts, and materials specifications — not just a sales rendering. Contractors regularly use these packets for both HOA submissions and permit applications. Requirements vary by jurisdiction, so your local building department may have additional requirements, but the packet is designed to cover the core elements most reviewers ask for.

How do I get started?

Go to the Order page, select your package, fill in the project details, and upload your reference files — photos of the home, a rough sketch, measurements, or anything else that helps communicate the scope of the project. Once your order is submitted, Delaney will get to work. You will receive your completed design packet by the deadline for your selected package.

Where do you provide design services?

Sunroom Design Lab serves contractors throughout the United States. Because our design process is completely remote, you can send us a project from virtually anywhere. We work from the photographs, measurements, sketches, product information, and specifications supplied by your company.

Do you need to visit the project?

Accepted Answer

No. SDL is designed specifically as a remote contractor-support service. Your team gathers the field information and sends it to us digitally. If anything important is missing or unclear, Delaney will contact you before completing the design.

Can you work with companies that have multiple locations?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Sunroom Design Lab can provide centralized design support for contractors with multiple offices, sales teams, or territories. Instead of staffing a designer at every location, companies can send projects to one centralized design resource regardless of where the project is located.
